eNCA | Coligny accused’s bail application postponed
COLIGNY – The bail application of the men accused of killing a teenager in Coligny in the North West has been postponed to Friday.
On Wednesday, Pieter Doorewaard and Phillip Schutte stuck to their story that Mothlomola Mosweu jumped out of a moving van while they were transporting him to hospital.
They claim they caught the 16-year-old stealing a sunflower at a local farm.
But the state’s main witness disputes their version, saying the pair assaulted the deceased.
Mosweu’s post-mortem report is still being finalised and has not yet been handed to the court.
