Are you a dynamic, go-getter comms/marketing/PR graduate?
Kaelo Engage, a Johannesburg-based agency specialising in social impact communications, is looking for young media, PR, journalism, communications, and marketing graduates to be part of their Internship Programme.
The position demands that you are a fast thinker, have the ability to multi-task, and have a strong interest in development and the media industry.
You must be an ambitious self-starter who wants to kick start their PR and communications career and is willing to do what it takes.
In return you can expect loads of on the job training, first hand experience, tons of learning opportunities and the chance to work with senior communication professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Office administration and management
- Media database management
- Assist with media pitching and positioning
- Team support
- Invoicing and payments
- Manage office stocks and supplies
- Set up meetings and handle all catering requirements
- Internal events
- RSVPs for events
- Attend events and host media
- Assist with travel arrangements
- Record contact reports
Essential skills and experience
- Currently completing or has completed a bachelor’s degree or diploma in media studies English/drama/marketing/communications / journalism
- Basic MS Office skills– MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent written and verbal English Skills
Desirable skills and experience
- One year of work experience in office environment
- Social media skills and interest
