Job description

We’re looking for a young, creative thinking, social media junkie to manage our clients social media platforms and online communities. Your excellent understanding of how to use Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter to engage and drive consumer behaviour or product adoption is what will make you stand out from other candidates. You should ideally have a degree in marketing as it will provide you with a solid foundation of brand building, which we believe is critical to achieving success in this very cluttered environment.

You will facilitate the internal creative brainstorming because you would know how to adapt any traditional campaigns to work best in the social media space. You will write content and design briefs and be involved in internal reviews before presenting to client. Short post content will be written by you and scheduled with Hootesuite.

Other duties include:

• Managing our social media content process to ensure content is approved and posted on time
• Ensuring metrics for success are being met  
• Suggesting campaign ideas and improvements
• Writing content strategies
• Building client relationships and facilitate meetings
• Social listening to pick up trends and brand sentiment
• Monthly reporting

Requirements

• Marketing degree advantageous
• Social Media or Digital certification
• Excellent understanding of most popular social media platforms
• Experience in using Hootsuite
• Good communication skills
• Copywriting 
• Good report writing skills
