Environment:

A versatile and solutions-driven business development analyst is sought by a dynamic e-commerce platform. Your core role will include conducting research, using online tools and implementing innovative ways to boost business and effective execute projects. You must possess a B Degree majoring in a Quantitative field, a Post-grad qualification will be highly beneficial, have at least three years of work experience in an analytical role and be Excel proficient.

Duties:

Reporting to the head of business development –

• Provide the research and analysis required to develop robust businesses cases for new opportunities to grow the business.
• Assemble and analyse the data to determine the size of the market for new concepts.
• Research how solutions are being implemented locally and internationally.
• Use online tools and resources as well as identify and engage other information sources.
• Build Excel models to quantify the size of opportunities.
• Apply creative problem-solving to develop solutions.
• Develop the high-level functional requirements that the business would need to implement the opportunity – You will need to work with specialists across the business to understand what is needed to practically implement ideas.
• Build implementation plans and budgets for the execution of new projects.
• Project manage the implementation of selected opportunities.

Requirements:

Qualifications –

• A Bachelor’s Degree with a quantitative subject as a major.

Advantageous –

• Postgraduate Degree.

Experience/skills –

• Three to five years of experience in an analytical role (e.g. in e-commerce, consulting, engineering).
• Competence in Excel.
