Job description

The role of content manager is a pivotal role – exciting and diverse with great opportunities for growth. We are looking for someone very special – someone who has one very grounded foot in the commercial world of e-commerce, especially merchandising and another foot in creative content management.  Are you our savvy story telling wizard, able to spot these inspiring and enticing opportunities in the products that we sell?

The successful candidate will be expected to plan and execute all newsletters, manage the content aspects of our website, as well as plan and commission blog posts and the content marketing strategy.

Responsibilities will include:

• Work closely with our marketing manager and head buyer to plan and execute at least three newsletters per week.
• Plan, write, commission, and edit blog posts.
• Assist in meeting our target of uploading 300+ product descriptions per month and making sure they fit our editorial style and uphold our strict ingredient policy.
• Collaborate with key suppliers and influencers within the industry.
• Manage a team of copywriters, photographer and two graphic designers.
• Keep up to date with current trends in the natural and organic industry.
• Brainstorm and research new creative ideas and opportunities that will benefit the business.

Requirements

• Five years’ relevant experience.
• Demonstrable experience putting together newsletter campaigns in an e-commerce environment.
• Creative and experienced in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate.
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing and measurement.

Nice to have:

• Strong knowledge of the natural and organic industry
