In this role you will be responsible for conceptualising and working with our team to create digital products for our clients. You’ll be expected to set the bar for design within our industry and you’ll be involved with projects ranging from large-scale public-facing sites to compelling microsites and mobile app design.

You must be comfortable moving from one project to another and you must have the confidence to speak your mind as it relates to the work you and those you work with create. 

The candidate must be an independent thinker with attention to detail and thorough understanding of branding, layout, typography, colour as well as UI design for digital applications/products.

Must have experience working on complex sites and applications across mobile, tablet and web. Your role will be to head up the creative aspect of our digital team, work in a collaborative environment with our project managers and developers. 

A well-presented portfolio is a must to get a foot through the door.

Brands you will be working on include:

• Medium to large FMCG brands.
• Live event venues.
• Local and international franchises.
• Local and international B2B brands.
• Startup and seed capital enterprises.

You can do this:

• Design digital experiences that problem solve as well as engage.
• Solid design skills and a portfolio that demonstrates this.
• A desire to solve design challenges and set new standards.
• UI/UX.
• Designing for mobile/responsive knowledge.
• Pixel perfect detailing.
• The ability to work in an environment with constant changing of priorities.
• Aware of digital design best practices and ensure this is carried through on all artwork.
• Lead and mentor junior designers.

You have this:

• Minimum three years of web and online design working experience.
• In-depth understanding of the web and its fancy “tricks”.
• Ability to work closely with developers, and have a clear concept of their limitations.
• Experience in managing projects from conception to completion.
