Job purpose
To effectively and efficiently service clients, ensuring consistent strategic direction, the achievement of financial targets and complete client satisfaction.

Description of tasks (not exhaustive)
- Forms strong relationships with clients, influencing and facilitating the delivery of work that meets their needs
- Receive and develop client briefs
- Facilitates the understanding of briefs by creatives
- Manages projects by applying good organisation, planning and follow-up
- Acquires new business to meet financial targets
- Sells creative work to clients to meet financial targets
- Follows up on internal support systems to ensure high level of service delivery
- Adheres to internal processes and procedures
- Undertakes any other duties which may reasonably be required from time to time
- Meets deadlines related to all areas of work
- Briefs the creative team accurately and comprehensively, correctly interpreting the client’s needs first time
- Sells creative, creating a smooth work-flow from studio to client from supplier to partners and ambassador for the agency
- Demonstrates ‘living the client’s brands’ by working with passion and dedication on the brands dealt with
- Understands the complete brand strategy of the client and ensures that marketing and communications resolve around this positioning and strategy
- Demonstrates creativity in dealing with the client and in interaction with the creative team
- Analyses agency performance against client investment to the year plan
- Undertakes administrative activities to ensure on-time and accurate billing
- Holding regular weekly status meetings with client
- Issuing contact reports post all client interactions
- Keeping up-to-date with relevant trends, market and industry, and client relevant (sector and competitor) developments and research

Requirements
- Relevant degree and at least five years’ industry experience is essential
- Public/Parastatal sector and corporate brand and marketing communications experience
- Knowledge of and exposure to all media platforms and production and printing outputs
- Excellent project management ability, and agency process and systems knowledge
- Outstanding organisational capability, operational skills and attention to detail
- Superb communication and interpersonal skills
- Business-minded and great entrepreneurial talent
- Patient and level-headed, but full of energy and the ability to thrive under pressure
