Job description
Our client is a digital marketing company and one of the largest lead generation firms in South Africa. They use a range of digital channels to improve sales and optimize their clients’ ROI (return on investment). They strongly believe in the ethos that any digital marketing initiative taken needs to be highly measurable and results driven, thus enabling their clients to successfully measure their return on investment. All their digital marketing campaigns are 100% trackable, making it possible to measure and account for every cent spent.
Our client is looking for a lively and incisive communicator, who is more authoritative than persuasive in style to manage the SMS / data channel team. Making sure the company hits the required lead targets
Role Responsibilities:
- To manage the internal SMS / data channel, making sure we hit required lead targets for the respective clients, monetising the existing internal data and growing this business unit month on month
- Interpret results of campaigns and optimize results based on SMS gateways, messaging etc.
- Manage internal client relationships and requirements
- Manage provider relationships and source new suppliers where necessary
- Drive profits via collaboration with internal clients to obtain greater budget
- Financial and management reports monthly for exco
- Insight reports – interpret, analyze and make decisions based on reports
- Drive new initiatives for the business unit – new data, new strategies, new suppliers, new ways of generating revenue, data quality
- Plan, organize and direct activities within this department
- Finding partners to assist in machine learning and predictive analytics and managing / negotiating with these partners
- Ensure that the SMS system (using a proprietary interface) is being utilized effectively as well as come up with ideas for greater efficiency
Requirements
Minimum Requirement:
- Matric
- Degree an advantage
- Microsoft Office – excel intermediate to advanced
