Badger Holdings (Pty) Ltd is a dynamic, growing Company based in George in the beautiful Garden Route We have the following vacancy in our internal audit department.
 Duties and responsibilities:

• As the information technology auditor within the team take the lead in the planning, implementation and execution of the information technology audit plan.
• Supply support to the team with the extraction and analysis of data when requested. 
• As lead auditor or as a team member to plan, execute and report on audits, including but not limited to IT-specific audits, in compliance with the approved audit standards.
• Identification and assessment of internal controls.
• Report constructively on audit findings and making appropriate recommendations.
• Evaluating and monitoring the implementation of recommendations made.
• The mentoring of and transfer of skills to junior team members during audit engagements.
• Maintain positive professional relationships with team members and business operations.

Requirements:

• B degree in internal auditing or equivalent.
• CISA or other professional internal audit qualifications will be advantageous.
• At least three years of audit experience with some IT audit experience.
• Insurance industry exposure will be advantageous. 

This position will be based in George, Western Cape
