Job description
The University of Stellenbosch Business School Executive Development (Pty) Ltd, more commonly referred to as USB-ED, is a private company offering leadership and management development (short course) programmes across Africa for both corporates and individuals. USB-ED has a full time position for a Digital Marketing Coordinator. The successful candidate will be based in Bellville (Cape Town). The appointee will be part of the dynamic Marketing team, delivering a high quality service to clients, the company and society.
Working within the marketing department, reporting to the Digital & Brand Manager, the purpose of the Digital Marketing Coordinator is to assist with the execution of digital marketing activities.
Key performance areas and indicators will involve:
- Website support
- Updating and uploading of content
- Moderation of comments
- Liaising with web developers
- Social media
- Assist to maintain and build online presence for USB-ED as per the social business strategy
- General business updates on social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube, Slide Share, Sound Cloud)
- Brand and advertising campaign creation roll out
- Moderation of comments
- Email marketing and newsletters
- Set-up mailer, send and manage database on Click Dimensions
- Uploading HTML emailers and setting up for send
- Managing databases, unsubscribes etc.
- Reporting on email success
- Digital branding
- Updating email signatures
- Execution of branded email banner schedule
- General admin support

Requirements
Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, New Media or relevant field
Skills and experience:
- Minimum 3 years’ work experience in digital, website and social media marketing (LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter)
- Experience in Click Dimensions, Asana and Rocketseed advantageous
Competencies:
- Excellent time management by working on multiple tasks, shift priorities as necessary and organise tasks and materials to meet pressing deadlines.

The successful person must have access to own transport and be willing to travel (South Africa and Rest of Africa) and to work after hours, when required.
