Environment:

Join a fast-paced FinTech company seeking the expertise of a highly skilled senior software developer (Java) who will be heavily involved in the design, development and architecture of products. You will also be expected to mentor junior developers. You should possess a Degree in computer science/maths/engineering/physics or similar, 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, strong OO analysis, design and development. Any previous experience in the Payments industry would be hugely beneficial.

Duties:

• Analysis, design, development and architecture of the organisation’s payments software solutions.
• Write new code for bespoke client projects and extend the functionality of the product suite.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to junior team members.
• Work in a technically challenging environment where the solutions you build require 99.9% uptime.
• Take ownership of full lifecycle software development projects.

Requirements:

Qualifications –

• Degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, physics or similar.

Experience/skills –

• Five+ years’ experience as a Java developer.
• Strong object-oriented analysis, design and development skills.

Advantageous –

• Previous Payments Industry experience.
