Ninety9cents is a full-service, integrated advertising agency located in Cape Town, and is one of South Africa’s largest independently owned agencies. Led by founder and Managing Director Andrew Brand, the agency’s extensive client base includes leading brands such as Shoprite/Checkers, Ackermans, PUMA, Spur Group, Capitec and Distell, to name but a few.   We are looking for a Junior Digital Strategist to join our team.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

• Developing relevant, current digital campaign strategies using all the necessary tools such as Website, Emailer & Social etc.
• Ability to identify goals, KPIs and strategies to reach set objectives per campaign
• Ability to review current strategies and to identify new opportunities
• Ability to extract analytics and formulate digital strategy
• Ability to keep up to date with the latest technologies/innovations, digital consumption changes/shifts
• Establish best practices in digital strategy and marketing
• Liaise with account management, creatives and digital teams

Requirements

• Must have a relevant degree/diploma
• The ideal candidate should have at least one to two years’ relevant work experience
• Solid knowledge of Web Analytics tools such as Google Analytics
• Must be able to work independently
• Must be a team player
