Prominent Technical Company has an opportunity for a Tender Administrator. Only South African citizens, who are suitably qualified, live in the applicable area and meet the requirements of the position are eligible to apply for this vacancy. The candidate will be required to give direction and manage the supply chain management unit’s admin office properly and give support to all sections.

Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12 certificate
• Computer literacy (MS Office and Pastel)
• Communication skills
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• Customer orientation
• Technical orientation
• Basic financial principles
• Basic reading, writing, report writing and arithmetic skills required
• Typing skills
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations
• Ability to create, compose and edit written materials
• Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques
• Work requires significant local travel to current and potential clients, this requires a valid driver’s license
• Ensure that the tender bulletins are checked every day
• Liaise with sales and marketing and the Regional Manager Gauteng on new tenders to be collected on a daily basis
• Ensure that tender briefings and site meetings are attended as indicated on the tender bulletin or tender document
• Ensure that each tender received and submitted is registered on the tender register and it (register) is updated constantly
• Ensure that all tender requirements are correctly filled in on the tender document
• Assist with General administration when requested to do so
