Essential:
• National Diploma/ Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Have certified training and sound technical knowledge in programming, fault finding on Siemens S7 PLC’s and setting up of drives
• Have 3 – 5 years industry related experience (preferably at an automation integrater)
• Press shop experience would be an added advantage.
• Have extensive experience in a PLC controlled systems environment including Profibus, Profinet, Profisafe and Interbus diagnostics, Industrial Ethernet diagnostic and SCADA programming and diagnostics.
• Knowledge and ability to read electrical drawings – hardware and software.
• Robotic experience is essential.
• High proficiency with test equipment for fault finding.
• Good communication skills.
• Have the ability to train others, work independently and as part of a team
• Be methodical, organized and thorough
• Be computer literate in : MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Be able to work in confined spaces. Requirements: • Siemens S7 PLC’s
• Programming
• Kuka Robots and other robotics experience is very essential.
• Extensive experience when it comes diagnostic /root cause analysis techniques, fault finding and problem solving abilities (especially when it comes to breakdowns and ensuring minimal downtime when dealing with breakdowns) Non – response within 2 weeks indicates an unsuccessful application.
