If so, our fast-paced brand and advertising agency is looking for you. 

You will be responsible for the maintenance and updates of our current client websites, and will work closely with our senior developer on the creation of new websites. You will also work with our online content management team to assist with SEO, content management systems and social media applications.

Responsibilities include:

• Front-end design of new websites and upgrades to current sites (working with art directors)
• Development of new websites (themes and plugins) and styling across platforms and browsers (working with the senior developer)
• Testing and deployment of websites
• Design, set-up and testing of HTML emailers
• Design, development and implementation of HTML email signatures
• Technical support to internal team and clients
• Management of domain registrations and hosting

Requirements

Technical skills:

• Strong front-end capabilities and basic technical back-end skills
• You will need to be proficient in CSS3, HTML5, PHP and JQuery/JavaScript
• Must be able to create WordPress themes and plugins
• An eye for good design
• Minimum three years’ relevant experience

Personal skills/attributes:

• A strong eye for detail, work methodically and accurately
• Deliver error-free work within strict deadlines, while balancing speed and quality
• Able to prioritise a varied workload
• Flexible and able to adapt quickly to new briefs
• Able to follow a brief closely and accurately
• Ability to multitask
• Be able to work independently as well as in a small team
• Friendly, positive attitude towards work
• Willing to work overtime on the odd occasion
• Good language skills
