Environment:

A leading Petrochemical company seeks the expertise of a Process Simplification Specialist to join its team. Your core role will include preparing Lean Six Sigma training materials, executing process improvement initiatives, process redesign consultation and documenting simplified processes. You will require a Degree/Advanced Diploma (NQF Level 7), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent, five years’ working experience in business process improvement and two years using Lean Six Sigma to simply process. Any Scrum Master certification will prove beneficial.

Duties:

Lean Six Sigma Training Materials –

• Prepare materials for Lean Six Sigma training to management and staff to bring awareness on waste identification and how to use basic Lean Six Sigma toolkit.

Execute Process Improvement Initiatives –

• Support the organisation in identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives through working closely with process owner to drive data collection and to prepare recommendations to decision makers to ensure processes within the organisation are robust, up to date and able to deliver targeted results.

Process Redesign Consultation –

• Provide consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques through continuous engagement with the staff on methodology & processes to improve process performance and product quality.

Communications –

• Enhance awareness and promotions on process improvement through sharing of content on success story to intranet or other communication channel to create an organisation that is well informed on process improvement activities.

Document Simplified Processes –

• Support the business by documenting and monitoring business processes, business rules and metrics resulting from business improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Degree/Advanced Diploma (NQF level 7).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent.
• Five years’ working experience in business process improvement.
• Two years using Lean Six Sigma to simply process.

Advantageous –

• Certified Scrum Master.
