A leading bank, named in the top five companies to work for in South Africa with the most leading innovative ideas has a requirement for Java developers to develop remote banking related applications in accordance to specific business requirements and detailed knowledge of application development, standard governance, Agile, testing practices and SDLC.

Requirements

Requirements/technology environment:

• Five years of Java experience
• Java
• Web Services
• JSp
• SQL
• Spring
• REST Services
• Maven and
• Mobile development will be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Develop basic technical specifications from functional descriptions.
• Develop internet and cell phone banking software products according to technical specifications
• Perform quality checks by developing and executing testing scripts and procedures
• Execute applications and systems performance analysis
• Recommend and implement improved methods
• Maintain and modify existing applications and systems
