Requirements

Qualification and experience

• Degree in human resources management or equivalent
• Relevant Honours Degree will be advantageous
• Seven years relevant experience, of which four years of should be at management level, and preferably within a manufacturing and unionised environment

 Knowledge and skills:

 Knowledge and practical application of labour legislation, preferably within a manufacturing environment

• Knowledge of remuneration best practice, payroll and PAYE legislation
• Excellent skills development, employment equity and recruitment skills
• Report writing and research skills
• Analytical skills with attention to detail
• Problem-solving
• Communication skills
• Leadership skills
• Ability to build and retain strategic relationships and partnerships
• Conflict management skills
• Presentation skills
