Our exciting multi-faceted events and restaurant company is looking for a detail orientated, number-loving, control freak who is all about creating systems and processes to ensure maximum efficiency while maintaining the highest level of accuracy. This fabulously organised human will also be filling an HR role within our awesome little company so they will be required to have experience in this area as well.
We are open to junior and senior applications – salary is negotiable depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Purchase order to Invoice Capturing and Debtors Collection (Pastel/SAGE prefered systems)
- Payroll Management (Pastel/Sage prefered systems)
- Loading of Payments in Electronic Banking
- Liaise with labour lawyer on any Bargaining Council matters
- Bank Reconciliations
- Cash Management Experience
- Capturing from source documents, full function debtors, creditors, cashbook and general ledger
- Provide training and guide companies regarding all matters of bookkeeping preparation and provision of information in terms of compliance requirements
- Assist and guide companies in the preparation of financial plans/budgets/forecasts
- Provide reports and feedback on the progress of the company on a monthly basis
- Preparing monthly income statements
- Manage business Tax liabilities, CIPC and personal tax
- Provide status reports as per compliance requirements
- Managing supplier remittance and statements
- Assist in review and reporting of weekly reports including; cash safe checks, sales and business expenses
- Knowledge of Relevant HR Legislation and Statutory Requirements
- HR administration
- Engagement packs for new employees and conducting HR induction
- Follow-up on approval of all HR documents (i.e. Requisitions, Individual Transaction forms, Training forms, Leave approvals),
- Filing and maintain all HR documentation (both manually and electronically)
- Collate and maintain HR system/s on a monthly basis
- Create monthly HR reports
- Regularly update all records and files for audit purposes
- Be the first point of contact in assisting employees and managers with HR related queries
Minimum requirements:
- Formal completed bookkeeping qualification
- Pastel Payroll: 1 years
- Bookkeeping: 5 years
- Pastel: 3 years
- Human Resources Administration: 2 years
- Fully computer literate
- Attention to detail, accuracy and ability to multi-task
- Good under pressure and able to think on your feet
- Must be a South African Citizen with a valid ID doc or must have a valid work permit
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
- Good contactable references
- GAAP point of sales system knowledge would be an advantageous
