A PR and publishing agency entrenched in digital products is looking for a senior and junior copywriter/reporter at its offices in Port Elizabeth.

Candidates must have a flair for the written word, a good sense of news and ideally at least three years’ experience in PR, journalism or advertising.

These creatives would need to produce content for traditional and new media, including social and advertising campaigns.

The company owns an online cycling news publication and YouTube cycling show and the candidate would be involved in the production thereof as well as building this sub-brand.

The copywriter/reporter would need to function as part of a small team, take charge when needed and be willing to work to deadlines and on weekends.

An interest in sport – especially cycling – would be a bonus.

A valid drivers licence and own transport are essential.

These positions – on contract or permanent – are available from either August or September.

Tasks include:

• Writing and subbing of press releases and content for websites, online news publications and integrating with social platforms.
• Developing and implementing content strategies for above.
• News editor (publication and show) and webmaster duties.
• Assisting with the development of digital platforms to align with client objectives and target audiences.
• Basic photography and video work.
• Ad hoc projects.
