Job description
Do you thrive on selling sand to a desert nomad? Do you see yourself as a target driven, strategically minded, and self-assured salesperson? Well then you might be our next Mid Account Manager. ZaPOP is looking for a dynamic, vibrant, driven and well-presented Mid Account Manager. The successful incumbent must be a self-starter, confident, able to identify and seize opportunities, have the ability to sell at the highest level and build trust with various clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Present, negotiate and sell strategically to achieve sales targets
- Serve as a strategic advisor to clients
- Proactively keep abreast of clients’ marketing plans, and provide solutions
- Ensure that client needs and requirements are understood, interpreted and communicated accurately and that their expectations are met and exceeded at all times
- Build and maintain strong strategic partnerships with clients by building relationships through regular contact (meetings, email and phone follow ups)
- Ensure high standard of customer service at all times
- Manage campaign administration of proposals and contracts
- Bring about campaign implementation, management and feedback to clients
- Source, develop and manage new clients
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 Senior Certificate or equivalent
- Diploma or Degree in Marketing (advantageous).
- Minimum of three to four years’ sales/account management experience in a high pressure, fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of FMCG industry Brand Management, Retail/Merchandising, and Digital Media would be advantageous
- MS Office – Intermediate level
- Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
