A well-established printing and advertising company based in Umbilo, Durban seeks the services of a CAD operator.

This is a permanent position in a fast-paced, client focused, on demand service industry environment, which is a very deadline-driven, creative and leaders in the industry.

At least three years’ solid experience in a previous position in a printing and advertising industry would be essential.

Requirements

Candidate’s requirements / competencies:

• Matric
• Computer literate with English as a standard medium of correspondence
• Previous experience in a print production environment
• Experience in CAD cutting (ability to operate the Kongsberg cutter/ Zundt Machines)
• Ability to work with complex instructions / drawings
• Ability to coordinate, file, store and retrieve manual and electronic drawings
• Maintain, operate and support associated plotters and printers
• Ability to work within a team effectively or work independently
• Experience in interpreting structural drawings and concepts
• Comprehensive understanding of CAD standards and operating methods
