My client is a financial services company with a global footprint. Their digital marketing department is looking for an individual with a strong drive for digital marketing with knowledge and understanding of paid search marketing. The individual will need to be very analytical in order to perform this function effectively and have a very good understanding of online marketing methods and trends in a digital-based lead generation.
As a digital marketer, you will spend most of your time analysing campaign and keyword performance, suggesting and implementing optimization strategies in order to achieve improved results. This is a great opportunity if you are passionate about digital marketing as an acquisition and client engagement medium.
Qualification:
A degree or post-graduate qualification in a quantitative discipline with experience in statistics, IT, informatics, accounting, marketing, new media, mathematics or similar.
Experience:
- Previous experience in an analytical environment will be advantageous
- Current experience in online marketing technologies such as Google Adwords (Adwords Certified – preferable), Microsoft Bing, AppNexus and other.
- A good overall understanding of the tracking of web sources and web traffic will be advantageous.
Responsibilities:
- Day to day management of paid search campaigns;
- Statistical analysis of campaign data and drawing conclusions thereon;
- Working within a specified budget;
- Work closely with management to communicate campaign strategy, progress and results;
- Submitting regular campaign reports.
Skills required:
- Two to five years of Google Ad Words experience;
- Very Strong MS Excel skills;
- Programming skills in JAVA scripts, Google Scripts and HTML;
- Data processing in basic SQL;
- Sales orientated;
- A natural flair for and understanding of the digital opportunities;
- Excellent numerical and analytical ability;
- Organisational and time management skills;
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills;
- The ability to work in a team;
