Job description
The Fire Tree Design Company is looking for a web developer to join our team.
Your task is to develop websites and web application projects according to deadlines in a fast-paced team environment.
You will be responsible for creating and maintaining several client websites back-end and front-end.
Must be able to communicate effectively in person and via email.
Please note that this is not an IT position. Relevant experience in web development is required.
- Minimum of five years’ PHP web development and managerial experience – WordPress, Drupal or other PHP based CMS.
- Solid experience with quoting and using a PERT quoting technique.
- Manage admin and juggle between coding, briefing, client meetings, admin, coffee breaks, and mentoring the other developers.

- Matric, relevant degree, or diploma
Desired skills and experience:
- HTML/CSS
- PHP5
- MySQL
- JavaScript
- jQuery
- WordPress
- Google Adwords/SEO knowledge
- Magento experience will be advantageous
