Auction House Administrator (Cape Town)
High-end luxury goods retailer is seeking to employ an auction house administrator in Cape Town.

Requirements:
- BA in fine arts
- Five years’ experience in the shipment of consignments preferably in an auction house environment
- Five years’ relevant experience in an auction house environment
- Strong communication skills at various levels
- Must have a valid driver’s license and own transport
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for gathering and maintaining consignment information, receipting property, entering consignment terms, generating consignment agreements, creating client accounts, and completing all documentation for property to be offered at auction
- Ensure that post-auction sales, insurance claims, external service orders, and purchase orders are processed in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner
- Organise post-sale meetings to facilitate sale invoicing/shipments; process all settlement adjustments
- Schedule and monitor deliveries, and receipt incoming property
Applicants must reside in Cape Town or surrounding area.
