Job description
An opportunity has become available in our learning and development team in the North for an enthusiastic, passionate and detail-orientated facilitator who will develop, implement and facilitate learning initiatives in accordance with the learning and development team’s strategy and in adherence to the Cape Union Mart Group standards.Our ideal candidate will have the ability to align with the company vision, be self-motivated and actively involved in overseeing the end to end process in the applicable area of responsibility. In addition, the successful candidate should have the high energy levels required for this fast-paced, exciting and dynamic retail environment.
Requirements
Key responsibilities
- Function as a learning and development facilitator
- Apply blended learning principles
- Conduct learning needs analysis
- Compile post facilitation reports addressing any issues raised during the learning intervention
- Effectively and efficiently plan, coordinate and communicate learning initiatives
- Coordinate interventions with external and internal learning providers
- Design, develop and update learning material in line with internal and external requirements
- Network with business partners at the necessary levels
- Monitor the effectiveness of the learning initiatives through feedback reports
- Travel to stores within South Africa
Key requirements
- Three to five years of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within a retail environment
- Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification
- An understanding of Adult Learning Principles
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Knowledge of InDesign system advantageous
- A valid driver’s license – for travel purposes
