Content specialist position available

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

• Creation of written content across a multitude of forms, including:
  o   Blog articles
  o   Print articles
  o   Social media content
  o   Newsletters
  o   Advertising copy
  o   Product information manuals
  o   Website updates
  o   Tender documents
• Planning and strategising workflow to be in line with the long and short-term company goals
• Social media posts
• Social media interaction with clients
• Speechwriting
• Workflow management
• Topic generation
• Coordination with design teams in terms of visual media to accompany the written content
• Proofreading
• Attend and provide input at stakeholder meetings

 We are looking for a candidate with the following experience:

• Three-year bachelor’s degree in media, journalism, communication, marketing, PR or related fields.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in publishing, print, digital media, PR or related fields, with a mixture of these being preferable.
• Experience in the financial services industry preferable.
• Excellent time-management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work quickly and accurately under deadline pressure.
• Own transport is a plus.
• Flexible and adaptive to our highly dynamic work environment.
• Proficiency in a number of South African languages will be a plus.
