An experienced quoting specialist who provides customer quotations that result in profitable sales revenue to the company. Supports the overall company’s sales strategy through efficient and timely responses to internal and external customers. One is required to manage and plan all costs associated with all types of projects, from outset until completion. Above all, to be concerned with doing the best possible job at the best possible price. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction. Alternative duties, assignments and projects may be afforded to the employee and the job profile may be amended from time to time as may be required by the company.

Responsibilities:

• Load new enquiries and process into quotes for customers
• Fully understand all components that comprise the quote
• Compose, within the quote framework, the branding solution on offer
• Ensure accurate and timely entry of quotes and delivery of quotes to customers
• Ensure all quotes are created utilising the company’s standard quote process
• When required, source new materials and pricing in order to complete the quote at hand
• Working closely with projects, and sales, and or other teams as required or requested
• Monitor all information in relation to the quote at hand including labour, material and sub-contractor cost forecasting thus ensuring quote is accurate
• Develop quoting department

Requirements:

• Technical background/understanding of raw manufacturing goods and production
• Technical mindset required for composition of branding solutions on offering

• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while setting priorities

• SA citizenship or SA permanent residency essential
• Advantageous: degree or experience in construction/engineering/branding fields
• Advantageous: draft experience
