Daily duties:

• Lead, manage document and implement training for standard material operating procedures with warehouse teams 
• Gather, analyse and summarise data to prepare and develop visual charts, graphs and presentations for the monthly reports and other operating reviews 
• Introduction and implementation of facility recycling and environmentally friendly alternatives Interface with procurement specialists and logistics managers  
• Manage and audit warehouse cycle count inventory on a regular basis communicate shipment progress/movement and other equipment related matters in a consistent and timely manner through established system processes to reduce redundancy   Manage on-time receipts of material to the warehouse, transfers, dropships and standard fulfilment 

  Specific skills/qualifications: 

• Matric three to four years of experience in all areas of production and distribution operations
• Awareness and strategic understanding of external influences such as legislation, fuel costs Strong communication skills as well as proven organisational skills. 
• Our candidate will be customer facing and therefore excellent customer service skills are needed  The ability to source suppliers and negotiate rates that are favourable and in line with budgets and targets
• Efficient expertise on time administration. Previous experience of managing people, including the ability to carry out personnel evaluations, set performance targets, engage new employees and identify and possibly deliver training
• Have effective decision-making skills as well as sound judgement and leadership ability
• Self-motivated, practical and resourceful  

Salary offered: R40,000 ; Benefits; Overtime; Bonus
