Samancor Chrome’s core business is the mining and smelting of chrome ore. With an annual capacity of some 1.2 million tons of ferrochrome and chromite ore, Samancor Chrome is one of the largest integrated ferrochrome producers in the world.

Requirements

Our client requires extremely reliable Distribution Drivers who can ensure all deliveries are done timeously. Must be well presented with the ability to communicate well with clients and to be the Brand Ambassador for their company. To succeed as our driver, you will need:

• Grade 12
• Two to four+ years’ experience
• Code 10 + valid PDP drivers licence
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Good driving record with no traffic violations
• A highly responsible and safety focused manner

Role and responsibilities:

• Always maintain good vehicle standards by keeping vehicle neat and tidy
• Ensuring timeously delivery of goods
• Stick to routes given to optimise time
• Double check and review orders given for deliveries
• Maintain good relationship with customers and be a Brand Ambassador
• Minimise breakages and damages
• Complete daily drivers log and ensure return to the Warehouse

Remuneration:R18,000 including company benefits, overtime.
