Oversee and manage the work, quality and attendance of all employees will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing and dispatch Manage the incoming and outgoing freight bookings. Manage detailed inventory of all clients. Ensure that the packing store and the yard is clean, neat and organised. Oversee the quality of the store, freight inventory and shipment management. Oversee the packers and loaders in the warehouse. Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system Prepare annual budget Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies. Plan work rotas, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees Specific Skills/ Qualification  Matric Certificate  6 to 8 plus years experience in management/operations management. Must have computer literacy skills, with advanced Excel proficiency. Leadership skills and ability manage staff Strong decision making and problem solving skills Must reside in the Northern suburbs of Western Cape or willing to relocate. Ability  to prioritise and multi-task. Display attention to detail and accuracy. Practical, technically orientated with organisational skills. An enthusiastic, positive energy with the ability to strive for excellence in his work. High level, bilingual communication skills  Proven ability to oversee the work of others.
