Employee Engagement And Organisationai Development Consultant / Ee
Our client in the automotive industry, is currently looking for an Employee Engagement and Organisational Development Consultant with experience to join their dynamic team.
The Employee Engagement and Organisational Development Consultant will be responsible for developing, implementing and tracking various organisational culture and engagement initiatives across all levels of the organisation to drive improved levels of employee engagement.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
- Plan and co-ordinate the execution of annual Employee Engagement and Organisational Development survey process
- Coach and advise managers and organisational units on the process – from preparation to review and follow-up processes
- Guide Leadership on compiling, capturing, actioning
- Action Plans on the central Group portal
- Design and facilitate audience appropriate results discussions and team interactions for the companies OU’s
- Effectively prepare written reports, supporting tables and analyses to communicate results at various forums
- Co-ordinate the distribution of appropriate communication plans and campaigns to ensure uniform messaging and synchronized exposure throughout the organisation, with due consideration to Group CI indicators and tonality
- Serve as local contact and liaison with central Group network on matters related to local survey processes
Organisational Development:
- Facilitate learning, OD, culture and engagement initiatives using a variety of learning methodologies
- Consult pro-actively with line management and organisational units to identify underlying team and organizational culture/ climate factors that may enhance or detract from the team’s group cohesion
- Design and facilitate relevant in-house organisational culture and engagement events (e.g. team discussions, engagement workshops, away days) to grow and build employee engagement
- Compile and distribute communication packages by working collaboratively with the Internal Communications department to ensure effective communication of organisational culture and engagement processes to the organisation
- Monitor the relevant departmental budgets through forecasting, tracking and reconciling expenditure against planned spend and pro-actively following up on out-of–line situations
Education and Experience:
- Hold a formal 3 year Bachelor’s degree from a recognised tertiary institution, preferably with majors in Human Resource Management/ Industrial Psychology/ Organisational Development. Additional professional registration/ accreditation status as certified coach will carry a distinct advantage
- A minimum of 3 – 5 years in the field of Human Resource Management, ideally gained within one or more of the following HR fields; Training and Development, HR Consulting, HR Planning
Skills, Attributes & Other requirements:
- Have solid knowledge and understanding of employee engagement/ motivation methodologies, concepts, techniques and tools
- Possess knowledge and understanding of change management processes
- In addition to excellent verbal and written communication skills, display good interpersonal skills with strong networking, partnering and relationship-building skills
- Exhibit the organization’s values and demonstrate the ability to establish personal credibility quickly and build trust with colleagues and teams across all levels
- Present with well-developed facilitation skills and exhibit a passion for team coaching
- Have the capacity to mediate and manage conflict constructively
- Present with sound project management skills and possess strong organisational and time management skills to manage parallel projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Demonstrate analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Have the ability to manage budgets, control financial administration and monitor expenditure
- Display a high level of energy, work commitment, initiative and resourcefulness
- Be a pragmatic, solution-oriented self-starter with the ability to adapt easily to changing priorities and business needs
- Be willing and able to work outside of normal office hours in accordance with business needs/ customer area requirements
- Be willing and able to travel locally and abroad in the ambit of the position
- Be fully proficient in MS Office (i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet) with astute report preparation/ presentation skills
- Have a good attendance record
