An exciting career opportunity exists in Somerset West, Helderberg Area, Cape Town for an Audio-Video Technician/Installer/programmer within a custom sound environment. If you have the following competencies, we look forward to receiving your application.

Requirements: 

• BTech or diploma in electronic engineering
• Computer/IT/Networks and also qualified electricians can be a bonus.
• Matric minimum with appropriate experience in audio/video, home automation and DSTV
• Driver’s license
• Ability to work with hands and to make practical plans
• Computer proficiency: set up LAN and Wi-Fi networks
• Initiative and willingness to take on leadership and responsibility in a small team
• Project management 

Duties include the following, but not limited to: 

• Installation of cabling for new or upgrading of audio/TV automation equipment
• Installation in Homes, Restaurants, Conference Facilities, Office Complexes
• Work with other contractors: Electricians, Architects, Builders
• Project management of the above projects
• Liaison with clients to determine, solve and ensure customer satisfaction 

Salary: R10,000 – R20,000 depending on experience
