Job description

This is a junior position that requires attention to detail in creating and recreating artwork for Silkscreen, Litho and Digital printing, a passion for reproduction as well as a knowledge and understanding of design principles across all printing mediums. You must be a good all-rounder and have an ability to work on Mac. Ability to pay extra attention to detail and have DTP and REPRO skills will be highly advantageous.

Requirements

• Must be able to work well under pressure and work late to meet deadlines. Ability to work on last-minute jobs.
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop)
• Proficient in Acrobat/ PDF generation
• General design and layout
• Scanning, deep etching, colour retouching
• Ensuring all work is repro ready
• Setting up of pages, imposition, etc.
• Pre-flighting and ensuring print-readiness of InDesign files
• Flair for repro and detail
• Meticulous, precise, efficient
• Able to cope well under pressure
• Reliable, hardworking
• Willingness to learn

Salary is negotiable and depends on experience.
