We have a wonderful job opportunity for a junior to mid-weight digital online specialist at a renowned financial services company’s Cape Town office. In this exciting role, you will be responsible for excellent monthly marketing reporting and digital and social media content coordination. You will manage and develop close working relationships with relevant internal stakeholders and support relevant agencies. You’ll be required to develop campaign briefs and assist with the management of the Marketing content management system. We’re looking for someone who will take a proactive approach to make things happen, working with Brand, the Group, agencies etc. Fantastic opportunity to show off your Digital prowess!

Responsibilities

• Support Brand to achieve its digital goals, understanding the online channel and how to use that channel to reach the target audience.
• Support Online campaigns including creative briefing, implementation and analysis
• Keep up to date with new opportunities and new thinking, to ensure that the company stays ahead of the game both locally and on a global perspective
• Drive partnership with other business units to ensure the alignment of digital and social media marketing
• Work with the Brand and agency teams to ensure that digital specific priorities and objectives are factored into campaigns
• Assist with upskilling business partners in the basics of digital marketing  
• Ensure approval processes from a Brand perspective and online category management are adhered to
• Oversee always on social media activity in support of the digital marketing and social media manager
• Assist with the management and alignment of community managers in business and agency
• Monthly and ad hoc reporting of digital performance across all channels
• Assist with the management and maintenance of the marketing content management system.  

Requirements

The successful candidate must have/be:

• Degree/diploma in marketing OR Post Graduate Diploma in Digital Marketing
• Two to four years’ marketing experience with a focus on Digital Marketing
