A manufacturing concern is seeking a National Sales Manager to join their team.

ob requirements :
– Tertiary qualification in Business, Economics or related field
– 5 years sales management and technical experience
– Marketing and sales strategy experience
– Product knowledge and application is critical
– Ability to conduct market analysis
– Budgeting, finance and controlling skills
– Computer literacy: MS Office
– Contracts Management

Duties include :
– Contribute to business strategy development
– Devise how strategy will be practically implemented
– Identify potential new business opportunities in the regions
– Design a tactical sales plan to support annual sales targets
– Sales Process Management (determine input activities for sales processes, measure and monitor at regular intervals)
– Conduct customer visits along with the sales person to establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer groups
– Business review / sales management (regular evaluation of sales plans)
– Sales – Negotiate deals for key national and cross border accounts, that are solutions based
– Prospecting new customers
– Manage customer relationship elements of credit management
– Cascade product information
– Convene and chair cross functional work team meetings to ensure alignment of activities
– Management of direct staff
