So, what’s the aim of the position?
To extract, transform, load, maintain and ensure the integrity of operational data.
Your day-to-day tasks will look something like this:
- Maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions
- ETL: Extract. Transform. Load. Structure, manage, and extract data from multiple applications / sources
- Maintain communication with relevant Support teams w.r.t. improvements, feature requests, system errors, etc.
- Verifies results by completing tests
- Performing regular investigations of data sources to verify accuracy and integrity of data
- Supporting the various divisions with preparing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
- Working with the various team to enhance the reporting and data insights
- Maintains systems and platforms integrity and security by researching and resolving problems.
- Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing standards
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge.
Requirements
- Must love data!
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Excel.
- Strong mathematical and analytical problem-solving skills
- High degree of accuracy
- Results oriented, creative thinking
- Logical individual, motivated by building practical and sustainable solutions
- Solutions-oriented
- Can-do attitude, self-motivated
- Strong prioritization and managerial skills
- Strong understanding of business processes, acumen and interlinked relationships.
Advantageous:
- Experience working in a Digital Media Agency
- Tertiary qualification/s within the marketing and/or digital sphere
