A young and dynamic consulting firm is looking for someone to join their team. Responsibilities: • Record, verify, consolidate, and enter transactions. • Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information. • Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies. • Maintain general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries. • Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheet, profit and loss, and other statements. • Maintain and update fixed asset registers • Assist with tax audits and tax returns Education and Experience: • Bcom Accounting • PGDA (preferable) • Completed SAICA articles at a Mid-Tier firm (preferable) • Excellent communication skills Other requirements: • Own vehicle/ transportation to travel to and from clients • Must be able to work without supervision and alone. • Must be able to work flexible hours and from flexible work space. • Excellent time management skills • Ability to meet deadlines. careers@adaptiveconsultingservices.co.za
