Job description
To manage all Vital & Promeal categories within all channels (FMCG, retail pharmacy, independent pharmacy, wholesale and online) on a strategic and tactical level into significant categories players.
Identifying and delivering data-based solutions, predictive data models, forecasting models and measurement tools that will support the sales and marketing teams to reach the companies’ long term brand objectives and sales goals.
Responsibilities:
•Develop and deliver data-based solutions and forecasting data models
•Build category management capability to drive sales & marketing performance and deliver positive ROI
•Manage projects and/or assist with projects where applicable
•Manage allocated budget effectively
•Ensure that staff are trained, equipped and motivated through effective staff management processes.
Please note: This position is Gauteng based.
Requirements
- Degree in business or marketing or related field
- 5 years’ experience in trade marketing
- Experience in data analytics, category management, supply chain and related disciplines
- Knowledge of buying, merchandising and retail operations
- Knowledge of the FMCG retail and Pharmacy business
- Advanced computer skills especially Excel.
