A company specialising in international imports and exports is seeking a Local Logistics Coordinator to join their team.

Open position : Local Logistics Coordinator
Location : Port Elizabeth
Salary : R10 000 – R12 000 per month
Type : Permanent position
Reporting to : Local Logistics Manager

Job requirements :
– Matric
– Logistics qualification advantageous
– Computer literate (proficient in the use of the MS Office Suite)
– Administrative experience advantageous
– Syspro experience advantageous

Duties include :
– Reviewing release requests from sales
– Sending transport releases to cold stores
– Sending Collection releases to cold stores
– Booking trucks
– Transport PO’s
– Sending daily load out (between the Local Logistics Team)
– Following up on truck ETA’s
– Following up on load out dates from sales
– Filling trucks (part loads)
– Going through stock sheets to see if stock is available to load

– Meticulous attention to detail
– Accuracy and efficiency
– Excellent organisational skills
