Duties & Responsibilities
The incumbent will be a member of the team involved in delivering primary health care and occupational health services.
Have knowledge of the nursing process of observation, planning, acting, evaluating and re-planning. High capability to act in emergency situations
Must be assertive.
Able to take responsibility and accountability
Able to work independently with highly motivated approach.
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Possess good administration skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Experience & Qualification.
A 3-year National diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing Science.
A certificate in Occupational Health Nursing.
Registration with the South African Nursing Council
Exposure and completion of courses in spirometry, audiometry and vision screening would be advantageous. At least 5 years of relevant nursing experience, of which 3 years should be as an Occupational Health Nurse Practitioner (OHNP)
