Technical / Industrial Sales
Our client is seeking a Technical / Industrial Sales Person based in Port Elizabeth / Kwazulu Natal responsible for both coastal regions to ensure consistent and profitable growth in sales revenues through positive planning and interaction with current / prospective customers by providing professional solutions.

Job requirements :
•Matric / grade 12
•At least N3 Technical qualification
•Recognized Sales and / or Marketing Qualification
•Minimum of 3 – 5 Years within a solutions selling environment
•Valid driver’s license and reliable car essential
Brief summary of Duties :
•Visit customers and potential new customers
•Analyze and provide feedback on buying patterns of customers
•Assess and manage all warranty claims
•Provides ideas to increase sales
•Give input to the development of model stock for each customer to decrease rotations
•Training of customers to ensure customers are kept up to date with technical product changes
•Implementation of new marketing and promotion ideas
•Monitor monthly sales per customer
•Review scrap recovery by customer on a weekly basis and visit bottom performing customers to ensure the return of scrap is increased and optimized
•Resolve or escalate all customer queries / complaints
•Determine the customer requirement regarding POS material per customer
•Make recommendations on product enhancements for improved sales potential
•Canvassing and opening of new customer accounts based on their viability as future customers
•Monthly reporting and meetings with the Industrial Business Development Manager
•Maintain and monitor market share on a monthly basis
•Ensure that technical developments in the market are reported to the Industrial Business Development Manager for escalation to the Technical / Marketing team on an ongoing basis
•Ongoing tracking and reporting on competitor activity in the region
•Set up monthly meetings and discuss action plans relating overall debtors
•Ensure that operational costs are curbed by reducing unnecessary expenses
•Conduct regular pricing surveys in the region and report findings
•Ensuring that discounts are managed in accordance with set parameters
