Group Management Accountant (ca)
This national, well-known organisation, is currently seeking the services of a Group Management Accountant (newly qualified CA), to perform group reporting functions including management accounts, annual financial statements and interim results, weekly sales, technical IFRS reporting issues and analysis of results.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Newly qualified Chartered Accountant (SA).
- Minimum 1 to 2 years’ experience.
- Technical competencies on IFRS essential.
- SAP experience is a definite advantage.
Key Performance Areas:
Management Accounts:
- Timely and accurate reporting of month-end management accounts.
- Process consolidation entries.
- Ensure all new business acquisitions are appropriately accounted for in the ledger and disclosed.
Weekly Sales and First Profit:
- Timely and accurate reporting of weekly sales and first profit.
Group Annual Financial Statements and Interim Results:
- Prepare annual financial statements, press release and interim results in terms of IFRS and JSE requirements.
- Analyse financial results.
- Liaise with External Auditors.
Adhoc:
- Authorise payments and manage user changes on online banking platforms.
- Document the implication of technical IFRS matters and changes to standards.
Competencies:
- Problem solving.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Technical competencies on IFRS essential.
- Deadline driven.
- Ability to multi-task.
