Event Sales – National
Our client is a dynamic music festival and events company, looking to expand their expertise into the corporate market.
We are on the hunt for self motivated, independent sales talent with the relevant background and proven track record with a national reach.
This means that you are currently working in the corporate space responsible duties as set below. Only candidates with this specific experience will be considered.
Target space 1:
Branded events and activations: These events are typically a marketing function and can include; branded activation area’s at live events/shopping centres, promotions, product launches, trade show exhibits, experiential marketing campaigns etc.
Target space 2:
Corporate events: These events typically cater for a company’s internal staff and include events such as year end functions, conferences, award ceremonies etc
Key responsibilities and duties will be :
- Day to day activities would primarily consist of calling on potential clients and selling services.
- The ideal candidate will have a network of clients in one or both of the target space’s which could be brought on board as clients fairly quickly / easily.
- Candidates would be required to maintain and develop strong client relationships in order to expand account value and ensure repeat business.
Qualification and background :
- Sales background essential in the event industry
- Tertiary education preferable in event planning and co-ordination
- Ideal candidate would have experience selling services to large corporates.

- Along with high energy levels, good administration and reporting skill are essential.
- Attention to detail imperative
- Candidate must be willing to travel extensively – Covering national base
