Looking for a young and vibrant Graphic Designer based in Durban

A technical, analytical and creative opportunity has arisen at a large FMCG Manufacturing company. The portfolio reports directly to the Group Marketing Manager.

The Graphic Designer is responsible for conceptualizing and implementing design solutions that meet strategies from concept to completion. In addition, the portfolio interprets the brand and marketing needs of the company to drive sales / revenue and convey a certain message to consumers.

KEY DELIVERABLES

• Bringing the brief and concept to life
• Keeping budget, time and production constraints in mind
• Preparing mock-ups and presenting to the Marketing Team and Management before deciding on the final design / concept
• Editing proofs
• Creating designs, concepts and layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and design principles
• Assisting in the development of new campaigns, brainstorming and execution
• Taking photographs at targeted events

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop and InDesign
• Familiarity with HTML, Motion Graphics and WordPress
• Strong conceptual skills, high level sense of design, layout and typography
