Group Operations Reporting Specialist
This Global FMCG Corporate is currently seeking the services of a Group Operations Reporting Specialist. Reporting to the Group Operations Finance Head.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:
- B.Com Accounting or similar.
- Chartered Accountant, Chartered Management Accountant or equivalent preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in a Finance Business Partnering capacity with strong capability in the management reporting space.
- Proven track record in operation cost processes and reporting.
- FMCG experience an advantage.
- Experience working in a range of Africa markets.
- Sound business and commercial acumen.
- Advanced MS Office.
- Must be prepared to travel.
Key Performance Areas:
- Take responsibility for developing accurate, standardised, relevant and easily accessible financial and production performance data and reports for Operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve cost of production.
- Develop, co-ordinate and implement standard reporting processes and systems to increase cost transparency and the understanding of production performance on operational costs in the business.
- Improve cross business operational performance and cost benchmarking processes.
- Work with Group Operations and Group IT to integrate and automate the reporting of both production performance and related cost performance KPI’s.
- Contact point for PIP (Performance Improvement Project) Group Operations business case validation and value realisation calculations and ensure integration of such into cost reporting processes for Group.
- Provide ongoing support to the Finance Business Partners (for Operations) across the Group.
- Stay abreast of and share best-in-class cost reporting processes and systems, and innovate changes where necessary.
- Provide Finance support on projects.
- Manage and build relationships with various stakeholders across the business.
