They are looking to work with a leader that is proficient at interacting with and partnering across multiple IT and business teams with plenty of opportunities to learn and knowledge share.

Ideal experience and skills to date:

• Three-year tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, e.g. computer science or engineering
• Seven to 10 years working experience within the IT industry
• Three to five years’ experience with architecting and designing of API platforms including process, data and system APIs
• Five years+ experience with all aspects of IT projects from business analysis, architectures, system analysis, and design through development, testing, implementation, and production support (SDLC)
• Five years + Excellent design and architecture skills and proven track record delivering well-designed complex enterprise-class systems
• Five years+ experience with Identification and formulation of solution architecture and solution alternatives and their assessment
• Five years+ Experience Architecting and Developing N-Tier Applications using multiple programming languages and paradigms
• Five years+ Demonstrated expertise in a variety of application development methodologies and practices
• Two to three years’ experience in leading a team through an architectural development process and collaborate with application development teams, architects and other members of the software development team
• Two to three years’ experience with current research and standards in solution architecture
• Three years+ experience in high volume messaging and integration environments
• Two to three years of retail industry experience with an understanding of retail business processes
