Job description
Purpose of the role:
An evangelist of analytics, from research to reporting and beyond. We are looking for a strategically led digital and social reporting analyst that has the ability to turn data from multiple sources (social tools, web tools, etc), analyse the information and translate the statistics into meaning, purpose driven insights and reports for clients.
Broadly speaking, as a digital reporting analyst and number crunching “Crusader” you will be tasked with the development, reporting and on-going management of data\reporting objectives and goals based on the strategic measurements and KPi’s. From reporting tool and keyword setup, to data and reporting optimisation, on-going review and report backs to the strategic, creative and client\client service teams, this person will be accountable for setting up and reporting on the data and analytics from all social and digital\web channels, campaigns and clients.
Key responsibilities
Day to day:
- Due diligence\analysis and familiarisation
- Create key data metrics which the work\ solution will be measured against
- Present analytics and data\reporting\tracking recommendations that will assist the creative teams in the User Interface, User Experience and User Journey phases
- Manage and interpret data and analytics through manual analysis as well as through data from reporting tools, systems and processes for agency and clients (both internal tools and external)
- Research, accrue, extract, manage and report on data from various data sources
- Identify, map and report on data trends based on a strong understanding of the digital industry and current marketing and consumer landscape
- Trends and forecasts relating to the macro environment
- The political, economic, social and technological
- Trends and forecasts relating to the micro-environment
- Analyse and interpret data into meaningful insights and reports for decision-making purposes
- Provide recommendations and optimization based on data sets to achieve KPI’s
- Develop and maintain data models
Minimum Requirements:
- Digital agency background
- Five+ Years data and reporting analytics experience
- Must have experience working with industry reporting tools
