Job description
All-rounder digital communication expert
Within this role you will plan, execute and measure digital content that supports the strategy of the business and our clients. It is therefore essential that you are able to work effectively on multiple projects, have an eye for detail and a passion for digital communication.
Duties
Social media:
- Content and calendar planning
- Content creation and posting
- Scale the brand and company awareness through various social media channels
- Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology
- Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between customers and the brand, and ensure a positive customer service experience
- Maintain and grow social media follower base
- Measurement, analytics and reporting
- Community management
Newsletter:
- Email newsletters:
- Create emailer per schedule
- Facilitating approval process with management and client
- Setup and distribution
- Usage reports
- Database management
Website maintenance:
- SEO optimisation of content
Branded collateral:
- Make sure all collateral adheres to the approved corporate identity
- Ensure all teams have access to updated branded documents and collateral
Essential skills
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- English written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to deliver great work under tight deadlines
- Detail-oriented
- Proven experience in managing enterprise social media tools and technologies, including monitoring and digital marketing metrics
- Proven experience in campaign development from conceptualisation right through to reporting (the doing of it, not the delegation of it)
- SEO, Google Adwords and analytics
- Deep understanding of digital and social media platforms
- Up to date with the latest relevant industries standards and trends
- At least seven+ years relevant working experience
- A formal qualification in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Business Communications or other relevant subjects is highly preferable
- A postgraduate qualification in management or marketing and communications would be advantageous, but not essential
Advantageous skills
- SEO, Google Adwords and analytics
- Experience with database management
- Up-to-date working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Great eye for composition, imagery and typography
