Aa Finance Accounting Manager
An AA Accounting Manager, Finance position has become available in the Finance department, based in KZN. This position is responsible for providing support to the Financial Manager and the Financial Controller to maintain the integrity of the financial accounting function in accordance with sound accounting practices, legislative requirements and company policies and standards.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Minimum Honours Degree in Accounting.
- Big Four articles (adv.).
- CIMA or CA (SA) (adv.).
- Minimum 3 to 5 years post articles/degree experience with a minimum of 1 to 2 years in a Management role.
- Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft packages, as well as an understanding of business systems is a necessity.
Responsibilities:
- Departmental Management – effectively manage the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable team.
- Free Cash Flow Contribution – manage Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Fixed Assets.
- Expenditure & Risk Management – analyse expenditure to minimise risk.
- Manage the financial reporting and analysis function.
- Assist the Financial Manager and Financial Controller in effective tax management.
- Assist the Financial Manager and Financial Controller with effective Corporate Governance.
- Effective treasury / cash management.
- Lead, direct and manage the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
- Maintain and improve SHERQ performance within the department.
- Manage and implement Continuous Improvements and Projects for the department.

having the ability to hold others accountable is required. - Must be willing to work irregular hours if required and must be willing to travel as and when required.
